We were commissioned by a private developer to be the Architect of Record for this large multifamily project on a 53 acre former gravel pit in East Providence, RI. The design consists of 8 apartment buildings featuring 52 units each. The units are a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom designs with a contemporary kitchen, neutral finishes, ample natural light and a private balcony or patio space.
Residents in the 416 total unit complex enjoy access to a centralized clubhouse and fitness facility featuring an outdoor saltwater pool, pickle-ball and tennis courts. Each apartment building is accompanied by a detached garage building for a limited number of vehicles, and a parking lot with the required parking
spaces. Units are ADA compliant for handicap accessibility.
DSA developed design improvements, construction drawings, performed code review to meet local RI building code, handled permitting, construction administration and construction close-out services.
