David Sisson AIA, LEED AP
Principal Architect David is an experienced and dedicated architect licensed, registered and insured for services in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and Washington. With personal and responsive service a priority, David brings a strong sense of design and keen technical knowledge to commercial, institutional and residential design. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) in Building Design and Construction (BD+C) and takes green design and practice seriously in projects of all sizes. Prior to founding his architecture practice, David earned degrees at the University of Michigan and Rice University. He previously owned and operated an architectural metal fabrication studio in Houston, Texas. David is a proud member of the American Institute of Architects. David has served on the Planning Review Board of the City of Ypsilanti, MI, and currently serves on the Choate Rosemary Hall Parents’ Advisory Council, and volunteers for the Summit Neighborhood Association Snow Patrol. In his spare time, he renovates his 1920s home, and tinkers with his two vintage motorcycles. |
Karina Nurumova Job CaptainKarina sought to broaden her skillset by enrolling in the graduate Construction Management program at Roger Williams University, having already earned her B.A. and M.A. in Architecture. Upon graduation, she was offered a role at David Sisson Architecture to assist in design and construction documentation. Her wide range of skills have made her an asset to the firm.
